I don’t know where I’m finding the time from or, indeed, the words, but I’ve just limped across the line to 30,000 words.  That puts me about five days ahead of schedule now.

As far as the story is concerned, certain aspects of it are starting to decide what they want to do.  Whether any of them will join up into a coherent narrative before the end of it remains to be seen.  I’m still not sure what the primary plot is.  Everything has its own sub-plot so far.

I did kind of think of it in those terms originally, but I need something linking the separate plots together.  I think I know what the main plot is, I’m just not sure if the sub-plots know what the main plot is.  Time will tell.
